"THE UNPOPULAR TRUTH ABOUT MANY CONSERVATIVESI ran into an old classmate at the store this morning who I hadn’t seen for years. We chatted for at least 20 minutes, catching up on each other’s lives. When I told her I travel to DC a lot for my job, the conversation turned political. Her demeanor tensed and her tone sharpened as she talked about how horrible Biden was and how inflation and rising cost of living was hurting her family. Her rant traveled from there to the Trump indictment, the Nashville shooting, and ended in a general declaration of how messed up our country has become. As I listened my eyes drifted to her shopping cart … Easter candy, various groceries, iTunes gift cards, Nike flip flops, and a case of Bud Light.THIS IS WHY WE ARE LOSING!We talk a big game but too often give in to convenience. We like to say we hate the Woke agenda while we support Woke companies. We sit in the comfort of our homes railing about liberty on social media platforms while the liberals are attending meetings at local school boards and city councils, supporting each other and applauding their agenda. We don’t vote because we say the system is rigged while they research every candidate and show up in force at the polls. We don’t monitor what our children are watching while liberals indoctrinate them under the guise of entertainment. We hate what is happening, but we let it happen… through our complacency, we HELP it to happen.
