When Anheuser-Busch decided to hire Dylan Mulvaney as their spokesperson for their Bud Light brand - the response was overwhelmingly negative. A 171-year history as an American brand ended when a female impersonator was brought on to represent the beer company. Not only was the public outraged, but several musicians posted responses. A Boston Tea Party effect brought this historically-known company into the public dumping of their product line. Although this is seemingly a non-issue to some it should be noted that this episode of a corporation pushing a woke ideology in their advertisement has a direct impact on our society.
