Contact your representative to vote YES. 3. Attend the rally for parental rights, details below. Education ⭐ 9:00 a.m. – SUPPORT – SB 272, establishing a parental bill of rights in education. This is one of two bills being heard this week to ensure parents have no secrets between their children and public schools. Please read the bills as they are long and include many details. NOTE: both parental rights bills will be heavily opposed by vocal, far left, extremist groups because they discuss gender and sexual orientation. It is important you email and possibly attend the hearing to counter the narratives. SB 272, the Senate version of the parental bill of rights, has advanced through the Senate and into the House. SB 272 includes vital language to prevent the covert, social gender transitioning of children by public school systems. Parental rights in NH are in crisis. Many school districts have enacted nearly identical policies, based on a model from left-wing advocacy group, GLSEN, promising to engage in the covert social transitioning of children and conceal this process from parents. SB 272 will provide needed protections for parents' fundamental right to direct the upbringing of their children without authoritarian state interference. Progressives argue, without evidence, that parents can't be trusted, and open communication with them will cause harm to their children. But parents should be innocent until proven guilty. Such covert practices without the knowledge of the parents essentially gives schools overriding authority to make critical health and treatment decisions for children and may be driven more by ideology than true concern for the individual child. Loving parents can't be left out of the equation, and schools should not be making these decisions on behalf of the child. WHAT YOU CAN DO: SB 272 will have a hearing in the House Education Committee on Tuesday, April 18, at 10:00 AM in Reps Hall. We encourage you to make your voice heard and attend the rally for parental rights in education, on Tuesday, April 18th at 9:00am, in front of State House in Concord. This rally will be an opportunity to join together in support of parents' rights throughout the Granite State. SIGN IN NOW Come join parents and speakers to rally in front of the State House for the rights of parents in the Granite State. Join us in telling the NH government that you will fight to protect your children no matter what! We encourage you to make and bring signs that display our message and requests.
