This is my ONE issue. I could disagree with every single other Republican Party issue, but this is the one I refuse to compromise with. How dare California take our rights as parents away from our school age kids. It is and will forever be unacceptable!!! This would have caused me to WalkAway if I hadn’t already. They are encouraging our innocent and vulnerable children to lie to us, to trust their teachers more than us, to see us as the enemy, to depend on school staff more than us, to see them as safe and us as their closest danger. It is disgusting and despicable. This isn’t going to make children safer, it is going to put them exponentially in more danger.
