Be... View MoreI'm a Guatemalan immigrant. I always loved the 🇺🇸 USA from afar. I'm a Christian. Been clean and sober since 1993. I was born in 1967 and raised during a long and bloody internal 36 year long war. Between left marxist/maoist terrorists and the rule of law. War is hell. No one wins. Yet the dead are the loosers. Finally, in 1996 the guerrillas called for a peace treaty. They had lost. Or so we thought. They had come to the conclusion that they would never take the power by force, but by conning, lying and disassembling all conservative principles and values trough time, public education and "progressive thinking". Sadly, the same was happening from Mexico to Argentina. Hense the chaos all over Latin America today,under left wing thieving pirates. When that war came to an end,we were all tired and broken. So it came as a ray of light. Every Guatemalan borne before 1996 knows what ptsd is. So does every Central American citizen. (Costa Rica excluded). So when the left proposed peace, we were all open to it. And fell in to their lies and false promises. We wanted to believe. They became heroes of peace! Whilst destroying the real heroes with all kinds of accusations of which they were also guilty. Playing the victim and the martyrs. (Souns familiar?)We were all stabbed in the back. That's why many of us decided to look for better pastures. When I came to this Promised Land* in 2011it was still the Obama era. Which, personally, I saw as a huge leap in American civilization. Because racism was always an issue when they spoke about the United States. So I was very impressed. So impressed that I even convinced mysand my wife to vote for Hilary 🙈🙈🙈. I had fallen for all de 🐂💩. I even laughed at 45. Oh how blind I was... you see... we Hispanics are Christian by culture and legacy. Evangelical, Catholic, even Mormon. And all the branches. We have iconic religious treasures and those millions devoted to "La Virgen de Guadalupe" or "El Cristo Negro de Esquipulas", to name just a couple. 90% of us or more are conservative by dynasty and inheritance. Sometimes even too much. We're also very Hard Workers. We love EARNING. We're also very family oriented. We don't put our elders in "homes". We cherish them until the very days of their lives. We're too, are good a reproducing😁. The more the merrier. It's only a few of us that actually like to get money free. And those are the left leaning ones. For me it all began with Tim Pool. Ad then I saw that first Larry Elder's interview by Dave Rubin. The scales came if my eyes. Because of that, I started looking for everything associated with Thomas Sowell. Then you came in my screen. If I ever almost became a full unblooded demoncrat. Thank God I found all of you. (To be continued).
